Lack of enough sleep leads to issues with our hormones, and in this case, hunger and stress hormones.
A distortion of their functions can lead to weight problems. So, if you want to have a good control of your weight, make sure you have a good long nap.
The average person spends almost half of his day sited, be it either at work, at home watching a movie, or on the bus commuting to work. People have no idea that doing this is what I would call “sitting oneself to death”. Evidence has shown that the main cause of lifestyle related diseases like diabetes and hypertension is inactivity.
So, how do we beat these metabolic diseases despite our busy schedules?
Our advice is to first analyse the time spent sited against time spent standing or moving. After that, get a standing desk in your office if you can work with it, take the stairs instead of the lift, walk instead of driving to the grocery store or take a walk around your homestead after work.
These small things can make a big difference.
This will always be the hardest part, if you want to lose weight. Working out can beat that bad diet that you have been taking, leaving you feeling better and having higher self-esteem. My advice to people is to come up with a workout plan, do whatever they have stated and stick with it.
Track your progress, ask your gym instructor for advice on the kind of exercises that you need to take, track your progress and scale up steadily.
