Exercise won’t make you taller, but it won’t stop growth. To make yourself appear taller, concentrate on postural exercises. Yoga is a great way to improve your posture. Growth goes from infant to early adulthood, but once the growth plates in your bones are sealed, you’re done growing. These growth plates contain osteoblasts, which lay down new bone, which makes your body grow taller, according to the National Cancer Institute. The new bone (cartilage) that was laid down is soft. It hardens and turns into normal bone when it does. This process can continue into adulthood, as early as the early 20s.
